Green

Green tea is made from leaves which are harvested, then quickly processed (usually air-dried and steamed) to restrict oxidation, thus resulting in the tea being lighter in color than black or other dark teas. It is extremely popular in China and Japan, and is gaining popularity in the United States because it blends easily with flowers or fruits to create a variety of flavorful tastes.

Green tea contains caffeine and L-theanine, an amino acid which can help with mental acuity and improve mood. It also has a variety of minerals and antioxidants, including EGCG which has been studied to treat several types of diseases.
